Mental Health

Mental Health Resources for Staff MembersAccording to the National Institute of Mental Health about 20 percent of US youth are affected by some type of mental disorder sometime during their lifetime.  This includes stress, anxiety, and depression.   Promoting a healthy mind is part of supporting a healthy body.

APS addresses these concerns by collaborating with Aurora Mental Health school-based therapists and providing counselors at the secondary level.

APS is committed to the mental well being of staff.
